One of best sushi spots I've been to! They have such a nice ambiance and amazing service. Positives: - fair pricing - amazing service - beautiful place - fresh sashimi & nigiri - flavorful rolls - perfect portioning Negatives: - to be honest, I don't have any negatives.
We have been going to this establishment for over 20 years. When we heard that the place had been sold, we were a little nervous at first. But the new owners have done such a great job with updating the decor. The service staff stayed on and they are wonderful. The menu is pretty much the same but they added some new items to the menu. They also run some good specials which is nice since things are getting so expensive. If you love sushi rolls, buy two rolls and get one free. It's a great deal.
Love this sushi restaurant. The ambiance and service are perfect, and the sushi is delectable! Our favorites are the Tokyo Dori, Popcorn and Highway 65 rolls.
Amazing service, delicious fresh sushi. The rolls are a great size and they have an amazing buy 2 rolls get 1 free special. So we got six rolls for the price of four. Spent less than we would have at Mikuni for more rolls! We got the Oh Yes, Half & Half, Happy Day, Lucky 7 and Ichiban. We also had their Soju flight. All for under $100. Highly recommend!
I came back after I heard there was new ownership. Strongly recommend! Remodeled and sushi is great.
Food was delicious! We love it. We love dining in and taking out. Super convenient and great service! We had sushi that was excellent. The miso soup was excellent as well. We love this place and will be going back for sure!
Fresh and tasty sushi with fantastic specials like $1.99 Sake on Wednesdays and Saturdays as well as Buy 2 rolls get 1 free!! The ambience was beautiful...they have a cherry blossom tree, pretty plants and comfortable seating. There are several tv's showing the Olympics right now. Eddy and his parents own this local restaurant and they worked really hard to get it started this April 2024. Everything was newly renovated and super clean. They are located right across from Sierra College. There's lots of parking. I'm definitely going to be a regular here.
Great service!! They gave us a free miso soup and did a wonderful presentation with our rolls putting them in a boat. They also had a special for 2 rolls you get a 3rd free. The inside is decorated well too. Spacious, comfortable, and great food. My new go to spot!
The sashimi is always delicious and fresh. The Aloha rolls, pepper fin tuna, Korean Beef, and kimchi are some of my go to dishes.
I rarely give a 5 star review, but this place deserves it. Service was prompt and courteous. The server clearly knew the menu well and she made recommendations to us and accommodations for us. We were in a group, but she provided separate tickets. She didn't hover, but was watchful when we needed refills of their truly delicious green tea and boxes at the end of our meal. There is a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The lunch special is chicken teriyaki. A large serving of grilled chicken comes with white rice, a green salad, and your choice of potstickers or sushi roll. The chicken was grilled and served without sauce. Bottles of teriyaki, soy and sriracha were on the table so we could season our plate as we liked. Everyone was pleased with their choice and there were three clean plates at our table. Though this place is in a small strip mall across from Sierra College, it was very quiet inside. An absolute must for us aging diners! My ticket was $20, which is about in line with lunch specials these days and considering the generosity of the servings. Planning to return to try the fish!
